Hello, lovelies! Today I bring you a super exciting project to fulfil all of your Halloween needs this year! Complete desolation has hit the Bundy Reef Surfing Community in Second Life and with all the mystery and horror, do you dare visit the Haunted Beach?
Begining October 19th running through November 2nd, you’ll find an awesome range of activities and events to get you in the spooky spirit! Here’s what you can find!
Madpea Ghost Hunt – We ain’t afraid of no ghost! Head over to the MadPea mainstore and grab your kit to hunt the ghosts terrorising Bundy! This is a grid-wide hunt so collect those points for awesome prizes! Visit the website for more details.
SurfWatch Photo Hunt – Follow the trail from the landing point and find the skulls, where there is a skull there is a hidden photo op! Simply type “Show” to make the pose ball appear and pose! Make sure you type “Hide” once you’re done so the next photographer can enjoy the hunt! Don’t forget to check furniture and props for fun poses too!
Free Bird Trick or Treating – On Oct 27th, Bundy Reef will be part of Free Bird’s live Trick or Treat event so stop by between 7pmSLT-9pmSLT and grab some treats! More info can be found here.
Costume Party – Oct 28th will see the 2-week spectacular finish with style as we party, join us at Maverick’s Hole in the Wall5pmSLT with your best costume and celebrate!
And of course, surfing those spooky waves!
The best part is you can take part in any and all of these fantastic events as you wish! There is a ton of things to do and see and completely family friendly.
Second Life’s annual music and arts festival Indie Indie Teepee has opened it’s doors and is a must-see this summer.
With it’s festival vibe, this event is definitely one of my favourites and this year won’t disappoint. The sim is stunning and while there is plenty of shopping opportunities portraying this years “Midsummer Night’s” theme, you will also find music and theatre performances, art installations, games and more. Lots of free gifts too!
In unrelated news, I have just joined Pinterest! While I’ve been active there for over a year on my real life account, I thought I’d add to my long list of Second Life social media.
I’ll be pinning my own work as well as very useful blogging and Photoshop information so be sure to give me a follow!
