Hi Queens! Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas & a safe and glorious New Year!
A day late I know, but yesterday was filled with all kinds of good food, booze & great times with my wonderful family. And it is Boxing Day in the UK so still the holidays!
As well as giving and receiving wonderful gifts in real life, I was lucky enough to give and receive them in Second Life too. Being a part of the amazing work Christmas Wishes on Plurk did this year made me very proud to be a part of this community and I loved spoiling my Secret SLanta!
I was also spoiled by mine too – check out the lush makeup I’m wearing!
Thank you, everyone, for making my favourite season just as magical online ♥
Now go eat lots and drink lots and have an amazing time!
Today marks the opening of a fantastic event in Second Life – the non-profit fundraiser #UnitedAndKind is packed with many of Second Life’s greatest designers offering products old and new with 100% of the donations being split equally between four organisations!
Please visit each website and take a moment to read about the fantastic work and support they provide.
It goes without saying that there are fantastic products for sale as well as donation boxes if you would prefer to just donate, you will also get a box with some vest tops (like mine) as a thank you!
There’s also an auction where you can bid for some sensational prizes including a lifetime’s supply of Blueberry releases!
I put myself up for auction too, it’s the first time I’ve ever done this and I don’t expect I’ll bring in much money but here’s what I’m offering!
The event runs from today through December 11th.
Feel free to drop by and bid! Or in whatever you’d like, please do come and donate towards these causes at such a crucial time in the US.
It’s time for a cheeky look into the October round of Luxe Box! I’m a little late publishing due to RL work but never fear, I have made it!
This round has delivered exquisite items perfect for the season with an additional spooky vibe, this might have even been my favourite box to date!
I am also so excited to announce I was voted Luxe Box Lady of the Month for the round of October! It’s truly an amazing honour and I want to thank everybody at Luxe Box for the time and effort that goes into this unique way to shop and thank you for loving my photo!
And finally, here’s my unboxing video (in which I didn’t mention the above award lmao I’m WEIRD). Enjoy!!
It’s been a long old week but I found just a bit of time to put together this awesome look in preparation of it nearly being one of my fave months! These top, shorts and boots by Addams, Blueberry and REIGN. are part of a three-way collaboration and are spectacular. I love them!
You can find each piece in each mainstore in a plethora of colours, I’m positive you’ll find a piece you like.
I also made another quick video to show the awesome work of little bones.’ Nova Monroe. The animated mesh hairs are so much fun to play with and make for awesome role play tools. Check it out!
With the latest craze to take over the world being the super cool mobile game Pokémon GO, I thought this was a perfect time for some Cosplay in Second Life and show you some of my fave finds!
All of the Pokémon items pictured are available for free or very cheap on the Marketplace and I’ve linked them directly. There are also some full mesh outfits available and this store is selling Pokéstops and Gyms for your land, so if you fancy bringing the spirit of Pokémon GO in-world then it couldn’t be easier!
I also wanted to mention the location I used for the picture, it’s a completely Pokémon themed sim where you can roleplay and actually catch Pokémon! You’ll land in front of a large noticeboard with lots of information and things to receive, then all you need to do is visit the Pokecentre and collect a thrower and some balls for a few hundred lindens and you’re good to go!
I’ve only explored a few of the many levels so far but I’ve had a blast using mouselook to throw Pokéballs to catch the Pokémon that randomly spawn. Enjoy!
Second Life’s annual music and arts festival Indie Indie Teepee has opened it’s doors and is a must-see this summer.
With it’s festival vibe, this event is definitely one of my favourites and this year won’t disappoint. The sim is stunning and while there is plenty of shopping opportunities portraying this years “Midsummer Night’s” theme, you will also find music and theatre performances, art installations, games and more. Lots of free gifts too!
In unrelated news, I have just joined Pinterest! While I’ve been active there for over a year on my real life account, I thought I’d add to my long list of Second Life social media.
I’ll be pinning my own work as well as very useful blogging and Photoshop information so be sure to give me a follow!
