With the latest craze to take over the world being the super cool mobile game Pokémon GO, I thought this was a perfect time for some Cosplay in Second Life and show you some of my fave finds!
All of the Pokémon items pictured are available for free or very cheap on the Marketplace and I’ve linked them directly. There are also some full mesh outfits available and this store is selling Pokéstops and Gyms for your land, so if you fancy bringing the spirit of Pokémon GO in-world then it couldn’t be easier!
I also wanted to mention the location I used for the picture, it’s a completely Pokémon themed sim where you can roleplay and actually catch Pokémon! You’ll land in front of a large noticeboard with lots of information and things to receive, then all you need to do is visit the Pokecentre and collect a thrower and some balls for a few hundred lindens and you’re good to go!
I’ve only explored a few of the many levels so far but I’ve had a blast using mouselook to throw Pokéballs to catch the Pokémon that randomly spawn. Enjoy!
This shopping event has many similarities to the Cutie Moon Fair in 2014, except whereas Cutie Moon catered more specifically to Sailor Moon this brand new event has a much wider variety!
I adore Cosplay in Second Life, it’s by far one of my favourite things to do in Second Life. I’ve been thinking of making Cosplay in Second Life a permanent feature of this blog where I’d put together outfits of (hopefully) well-known people. What do you guys think? Is that something you’d be interested in seeing? Let me know!
Have you picked up your free Seraphim HUD yet? The super awesome people at our favourite sales and events blog have created a wonderful free tool to use in-world for instant access to open events. It even has an option to turn on repetative teleport to help you get into those full events on opening day! Thank you Seraphim, you’re awesome.
